Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th, 1995 in Stavanger and professionally referred to as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is a Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, released in May 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. When her mother told her that the songs she wrote could be used to not be famous for her, however, but to encourage people to realize the value of themselves and their impact in this world, she began performing them publicly. The mother of her child suggested that she sing her songs in public to help people realize their importance and the ways they impact the world. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora wasn't a dream. The singer claims she is a fan of creating music. She claims that music is her preferred method of feeling something.
